I got engaged in November of 2014, and bought the dress in January of 2015. Unfortunately, I am no longer engaged, so I'm selling the dress. I immediately fell in love with this dress once I had it on. Everyone told me I would have a "feeling" when I had found the right dress, and this was it. I had a vision in my head, and this surpassed all my wildest dreams. Classic ballgown silhouette, the bodice is custom made, lace overlay, explained in more detail below. It absolutely kills me to sell this dress, but with the risk of becoming "that girl" that has her wedding planned before actually being engaged again (lol), I feel its the best thing to do. I hope it brings one of you as much joy as it brought me.
Purchased through Nordstrom, this beautiful dress is a classic ballgown, custom made by designer Matthew Christopher with a Chantilly lace bodice, using "Victoria" lace (called the "Chloe") and a floor length tulle skirt with a train. It has only been worn for one fitting in September, otherwise, brand new, never worn. Sweetheart neckline, zipper and button back closures, and pockets. Oh, the pockets! They were what sold me on this dress... I'm a sucker for pockets... Anyway, the pictures included are from the fitting mentioned before, and the only time it's ever been worn. Because it's custom made, and never been worn, I'm asking a little more than what a "used" dress normally goes for. Included are some more specific measurements in regards to the hollow of the dress:
1. The hollow to top center of gown neckline is 7 inches 2. The top center of gown bodice to waist is 7 1/2 inches 3. The center of the natural waist to hem is 53 1/2 inches 4. The center neckline of bodice to finished hem is 61 inches (measurements 2 & 3 equal to 4)
I waited 8 months for this dress to be made... It was worth every second spent waiting. <3 The price is not firm. I'm open to reasonable negotiations.
